Olmeca Tezón Añejo is made only with the time consuming traditional volcanic tahona wheel crushing method and is named after the mineral that the crushing wheel is composed of. Traditional production methods using slow steam cooking in traditional brick ovens and double distilling in small copper pot stills are used to create this premium quality tequila. It is aged for 8-10 months in ex bourbon American white oak to achieve the presence of vanilla and wooden flavours that compliment the lengthy finish.
